As some of you may know, in light of the pandemic, Dennis and I made the decision to cut our trip short and came directly from Mobile, AL to Port Arthur, TX on Friday, April 3 in advance of the State closing the border between Louisiana and Texas. A 14 day self quarantine was already in effect for anyone crossing the Texas border from Louisiana. We drove directly through Louisiana and only stopped to use our own facilities but are trying to remain isolated, just in case. Neither of us has exhibited any symptoms or running a fever - we are checking our temperature daily.
We hope to continue up the east coast when thing start opening up and returning to normal. In the meantime, stay safe and go wash your hands!
