As we prepare to leave Port Arthur and continue our travels many things have changed. We anticipate things opening back up, but no longer have the desire to travel to the crowded northeast. At least not in the near future. We discussed our options and decided we wanted to travel right through the middle of America where there is less population. I am sure we will be able to do the coasts as we had originally planned at a later date. We have hopes of making it all the way to South Dakota on this trek and catch a glimpse of the amazing Miunt Rushmore. Maybe even stop in on family along the way.
We did everything but hook her to the truck yesterday. All our toys loaded on the back. We are ready to get up early and pull out by noon. Hahaha. We don’t get up early, too much snuggling to be had!! We cant check into Conroe until noon and check out time here at the Port Arthur RV Resort is noon, so we are not in a hurry.
First stop, my grand babies! We will stay in Thousand Trails Lake Conroe for three weeks. I hope I can store up enough love by then to hold me on my travels. The first weekend there will be terrible weather wise, but we can get some visiting in indoors, no problem!
We will keep our spot so you can track our trip through the link on the right. We will probably be three weeks in each stop at least for the first couple of months hanging around Texas just in hopes that things start to normalize. After that I have no idea.
