We left Breaux Bridge Friday morning almost on time. The friendly folks in the park kept coming and visiting whilst we were trying to get a move on. So we left around 10:00 rather than 9:00 as we expected to. But it is always nice to talk to the folks from all over. One neighbor was from Missouri and they come out to Breaux Bridge for a month every year. Their next stop will be another of my favorites, Galveston! The guys from Tennessee will also be staying in Breaux Bridge for a month, don’t think they said where their next stop was. But both folks were super nice and interesting to talk to.
We actually did pretty good on this trip! No crazy mishaps along the way, so sorry for the boring post. We did not even have to stop along the way. Not even for a potty break! Yea me!!!! The weather was fantastic! Still has a chill in the air, but man I have missed the sun for the last couple of days. It felt warm on my skin even through the windshield. 😃
Our Spot tracker did not seem to be working on the way, so I was tinkering with it and sent out a message to my family and confused them to no end. I do not know how the text comes across, but nobody understood what that was about. Anyway, it was apparently working, because the text message went out and when we got all set up here at the Bay Hide Away RV Park and Campground in Bay St. Louis, MS., the track was suddenly showing up on Spotwalla. So who knows what was going on with that thing.
The campground has some fun things planned for this week - they have a murder mystery game that is ongoing during the snow bird season and we will have a chance to get in on that and also, a group of us will be going to Palmettos on the Bayou in Slidell, La for brunch on Sunday. I checked out the ‘Clubhouse’ after we set up and they have a great outdoor area and an incredible library. I think they have every one of the Janet Evonvich books my friend Pat Franklin loves so much! Picked myself out a JK Rowling book that is not a Harry Potter! The Casual Vacancy. We will see how she is at other stories.

Here we are parked at the end of the road.
We are so close to Slidell, we may check up on Brian and Crystal Meadowcroft and see how they are fairing. We are also supposed to see Ronny and Songa Gremillion while we are here. Can’t wait to catch up with these guys while we are here.
